An exceptional collection relating to the same family (the Greenhough / Fenn / Irving families).
Four with extensive handwritten genealogical notes to the reverse. Comprising of Martha Greenhough and her husband John Matley (grandfather and grandmother of F. Irving), the silhouette of Martha in a shaped and turned fretwork frame, 14 x 9.5cm overall, the coloured silhouette of John on cut paper on a black paper ground, in a wooden frame, 11.3 x 9.8cm overall
Two portrait silhouettes of George Greenhough and his wife Frances Evans, both in black lacquered papier-mache frames, the larger 13 x 11.2cm overall; together with a fifth portrait silhouette of a lady, oval, in an ebonised wooden frame, no notes verso, overall 17 x 13.7cm.
