THREE GRADUATING STUDIO POTTERY DISHES

£95.00

Three graduating vintage brown studio pottery dishes by Muchelney Pottery

A beautiful collection of three graduating circular dishes each with a stylish abstract central decoration.

Founded by John Leach in 1965, Muchelney Pottery remains one of the few working studios in Britain still firing with wood. Each piece is made entirely by hand on site, using British clay and time-honoured techniques passed down through generations.

Two of the dishes having the Muchelney stamp to their base with the third unmarked but attributed to the work of the pottery. A striking decorative set ideal for mantle or shelf display.

The dishes have some very light age related nibbling in places but are generally in a good condition being free of any major faults or defects.
