A beautiful collection of three early 19th century wrought iron and wooden based primitive candlesticks. This style of candlestick is commonly referred to as as a courting candlestick with most dating to the late 18th to early 19th century.
The candlesticks features a forged iron spiral structure designed to hold a candle, often mounted on a turned hardwood base.
