An exceptional set of four Arts & Crafts style cottage chairs in the manner of well-regarded furniture maker William Birch of High-Wycombe renowned for his progressive late Victorian interiors.
These charming cottage chairs, aptly named due to their small size, are arranged with a framed ladder of narrow rails above a broad intermediate stretcher.
Having beautifully turned front legs leading to a wonderful quality rush seat. The chairs have some light age related surface wear but are generally in a good clean condition being structurally sound and without any major faults.
