Near pair of Antique Chinese export 18th century Qianlong period blue and white pagoda & village scene plates
A beautiful early to mid-18th century blue and white plate produced in China for the European export market. These were usually exported from China by the Dutch East India company for sale across mainland Europe.
A well-executed hand painted near pair with each plate depicting a bustling village scene with boat, pagoda, temple and bridge.
There is some light nibbling and one small chip to the underside rim of one example.
