John Wynne-Morgan (1906-1991) ‘Morning School Run’ oil on canvas painting signed and framed
A beautiful oil on canvas painting depicting a charming town house school run. The artwork being signed and inscribed to the lower right. Wynne-Morgan was a well regarded Painter, born in Harrogate, Yorkshire. After private education he studied at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, 1945, then from 1946–50 with Bernard Adams. His work was reproduced extensively in women’s magazines and he showed at RP, RA, ROI, NS of which he was a member, RBA and with Chelsea Art Society. Hertfordshire County Council bought his work.
