This beautiful Meiji period (1865-1912) frame displays exceptional quality throughout having a chased, embossed, repousse work border being applied with a pair of water dragons in very high relief with detailed flowing whiskers set amongst a decorative Chrysanthemum surround.
The frame retaining its original blue satin backing.
