Bérard worked from his studio in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. His specialised in paintings of the female form using various mediums to do so: ink and wash, watercolour, charcoal and printing techniques.
Little is recorded about Bérard except that he worked with Christian Mousset to create artwork and projections for L’object de Mes Hommages, a burlesque performance art piece held in the Cafe Theatre next to The Pompidou Center.
His work was sold primarily in Paris.
