Antique Chinese export 18th century Qianlong period blue and white floral & crosshatch border plate
A beautiful early to mid 18th century blue and white plate produced in China for the European export market. These were usually exported from China by the Dutch East India company for sale across mainland Europe.
A simple but charming decorative piece with hand painted central floral decoration and a crosshatch surround and border.
Please note the historic nibbling to the underside of the rim as well as some hairline cracking to the border of the plate.
