Antique 19th century Irish Coalisland Pottery slip decorated dairy bowl
A late 19th century Coalisland pottery dairy bowl of tapered form with a wide rounded rim. The interior is finished with a dark, high-gloss manganese-type glaze decorated with several vertical, ochre-coloured slip-trailed drippings.
The exterior and flat base remain unglazed, revealing the natural matte reddish-brown earthenware clay body.
The bowl has some historic glaze faults but is generally in a good clean condition being free of any visible faults or defects.
